Half year spending my work in an new workplace and finally here comes the grand event,
Annual Dinner... hahaha...
Ladies look fab on their dresses n gowns, guys ermm..., errr... need to work out more.
7pm sharp we arrived at the lobby entrance of Berjaya Hotel. Needless to say, the red carpet was full of gorgeous ladies on their gown. The dinner start without our ever faithful VP giving out his last speech as our VP as he getting a promotion.

Pass... Lets not talk about him. I'm here to say bout the annual dinner.
Okay. What on the plate is an eight course dinner set and the beverages to choose from will be orange juice or wine. Wait having only dinner is no fun at all. there are on stage show, lucky draw and few games to play with.
Dancers dancing around on the stage. The hostess was good at hosting the show and coordinating the games as well. Songs sung by the lovely songbirds and many more that I could hardly remember as i was spending all my time eating and drinking... hehehe.
regards of the food there, we have a fun night to remember on that day.

Coming to work on a long holiday and new year too

1st week of work on a new year, new beginning...

Wednesday was the first day most of us in Malaysia goes to work i can say.
New year celebration has become a past and most of us will be dragging themselves to come back to work with a new resolution for a new year.
Thinking what will come to me for this brand new year,
A salary raise, new role or maybe a new position in the department....
Having to think of these makes me wonder more and more.
(Think everybody will be have this thinking)
How i wonder if i could go to a destination where i wouldn't have to worry of all this stuff... sigh.. This is my reality. couldn't escape from this.Coming this year i need to push my self higher to achieve what i want. Only first week of work makes me tremble with my life... How would i cope this. I have survive for the year 2006. and now coming 2007, there are still 51 weeks to go for me to survive in this new year. Looks like i will be dragging myself to work for this coming year.
Strive for the best. Do all your best. Achieve for the best. This is what came to my mind.
Well i guess i need to do all this to help me survive for this year.

The rain doesn't stop for two day in the Historic City of Malacca. results the DT dam on the danger zone.
The Malacca government decided to release the dam water to the rivers sorrounding it.

The result of it...
flash flood... Everyone please abandon ur house...

Third day - flood resides.

The third day rain has stopped in some areas. dam level came to normal. floods resides. flash floods victims are allowed to go back n check the condition of their houses. Here's some from the disaster...

Well... looks like the flood victims will hav a hard time cleaning up their houses... Not to forget belongings to save.
A lesson to be learned for the minister.
To be prepared. When releasing the dam water(if it's at danger zone) make sure u have all the armed forces, firemen also the police to be ready for the worse to come.
