The rain doesn't stop for two day in the Historic City of Malacca. results the DT dam on the danger zone.
The Malacca government decided to release the dam water to the rivers sorrounding it.

The result of it...
flash flood... Everyone please abandon ur house...

Third day - flood resides.

The third day rain has stopped in some areas. dam level came to normal. floods resides. flash floods victims are allowed to go back n check the condition of their houses. Here's some from the disaster...

Well... looks like the flood victims will hav a hard time cleaning up their houses... Not to forget belongings to save.
A lesson to be learned for the minister.
To be prepared. When releasing the dam water(if it's at danger zone) make sure u have all the armed forces, firemen also the police to be ready for the worse to come.

Flash Flood

Floods has reside and relative return to their home. Nothing much can be done as electricity supplies was not up yet. Qoute from ma sis "Things scattered around. Murky stench from the flood is un-believable." Massive clean-up need to done. Wonder how much is da damage from this. Guess she'll spending Christmas cleaning up da house tis year.
Most sad thing to hear today in the news were the un-humanity of the rescuer that charges the victims for a fee to rescue them. How cruel can this world be? Wonder what is on their mind. Don't they noe the true meaning of helping each other during this time of period. Don't they ever think wat wud happen if they r in their shoe.Sad to read bout tis.

Worse flood happen...
The day started to rain non-stop for three days. The drainage in the area in melaka town started to overflow. Making things worse, Durian Tunggal dam was overflowing causing the surrounding area flood. Places like Tmn Angkasa Nuri was filled with water seven feet high. Me sis house was ask to evacuate as the water is rising up. First tim e in twenty yrs since melaka was flooded.
No more mood to work. Worries of family members in melaka keep haunting. Calling them for updates as the situation has not cool down. Hoping me amma, mama and the rest were fine all the while. wonders of mother nature. Can't blame her as the fault goes to human kind for neglecting mother nature.
A sigh and a lesson to learn not to mess with nature's creation
